A new cookbook by Food Writer and Historian, Ozoz Sokoh
Nigerian home cooking featuring 100 delicious recipes by food explorer, culinary anthropologist, and Nigerian Native of @kitchenbutterfly fame.
When I met Ozoz over Skype in 2019, she was very gracious and informative. She was a great resource about West African cuisine. Her vast knowledge of Nigerian foodways was insightful for the cross-cultural culinary curriculum I was developing. I learned how to make her pineapple tea and included the recipe in my digital cookbook, Okra & Tomatoes. I also used Pineapple Tea to curate the Zanana Cocktail!
As a Nigerian culinary writer, food historian, recipe developer, and culinary anthropologist, Ozoz has broadened our knowledge and understanding of Nigerian cuisine, culture, and traditions. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Let’s support her debut cookbook!
